Ready to use, there’s no need to wash, autoclave and cool ClearTainer carboys before use. Robust, clean and sterile they’re ready to use immediately, saving you time and energy, and eliminating bottle cleaning validation requirements.
RELIABLY CLEAN AND STERILE
ClearTainer carboys are extensively validated with compliance to biocompatibility USP class VI, to USP<87>, USP<88> as well as for endotoxin USP<85>, for particles USP<788> and sterile with SAL10-6. They are also autoclavable at 121°C for 45 mins.
EXTENDED CHEMICAL RESISTANCE
Allows for usage with a wide range of chemicals and solvents.
STRENGTH AND SAFETY
ASTM D5276, drop tested empty and filled, pre and post sterilization (gamma and autoclave). A uniform wall thickness delivers durable and reliable performance and robustness at a wide temperature range (-20°C to –121°C / -4°F to –250°F). Compared to glass bottles, ClearTainer carboys also eliminate the risk of glass breakage and product loss.
CLEAR VIEWING
Clear enough for viewing applications (with less than 30% haze), ClearTainer carboys eliminate the need for adding a polycarbonate sight glass for viewing, reducing cost, parts, and overall time expenditures.
VERSATILITY
Designed to be compatible with a wide variety of chemicals and bioprocessing fluids like buffers, media, harvest and downstream intermediates, ClearTainer carboys are available in a wide range of sizes, from 5 L to 50 L.
